Temporary Event Permits cover temporary events on private property. This permit applies to events such as festivals, parties, or gatherings with a large number of people. A Temporary Event Permit is also needed for tents or structures on private property.
Events on public property, such as parks or plazas, require a permit from the Special Events Section of the Baltimore City Department of Transportation (DOT).
